We went to Pike's Market today - had a great time looking at all the merchants' wares. No flying fish today, though.

This lizard was awfully life-like.

From the Market we walked to the Seattle Art Museum. Jon loved the hanging cars in the entrance foyer. There were some great exhibits, and as usual, it was great fun to have Jon share little tidbits of information on many of the artists' works. It pays to have an art history major in the family. Madelyn learned how to personally interpret art, instead of constantly asking, "What is
that supposed to mean?"

From SAM, we walked to the new Seattle Public Library. Very cool building. We went up to the 10th floor to enjoy the view, then went down through several other levels to see what we could see. This photo shows me checking out the view while waiting for my family to return to me.
