Packed Out

Our u-pack cubes were dropped off this morning. We were excited to finally get our stuff put away. My parents were ecstatic to get the junk we've been storing for 3 years out of their garage and other hiding places in the house. It was a hot day to work outside, but Jon and Dad and Jason got it done.

This picture was taken just moments after my dad towed the fork lift out from the grass. The driver got his back wheel stuck, and it took a lot of pulling and finally a really big pry bar to get it back on the drive way. Good thing my dad is prepared for every contingency.

We will probably relax here in Fresno for a couple more days, then drive up to Seattle to spend a week with Brad, Stacy, Shelly and families. From there we will drive to Southern Illinois to spend some time with Jon's family, then up to Michigan to temporarily live in university housing while we look for a house. Our u-packs will stay in storage in Michigan until we find one.
