We arrived in Seattle just in time for my nephew's birthday party. This is my sister, Shelly, and her sweet son, Tyler - now 2 years old! Tyler was feeling too shy to blow out his birthday candles. There was a helpful breeze that took care of them for him - although Shane suggested Tyler was using his Jedi mind tricks to get the job done.

The kids loved the slip -n-slide. It was a great activity after being in a car for 16 hours. The big kids really ran and dove for it. It was cute to watch the little girls tiptoe to the end of the slide and gently splash into the pool at the end.

Carson (my sister, Stacy's, son) is so happy to have his boy cousins around. He is always surrounded by girls (he has 4 sisters, plus all his girls cousins from our family), and so has looked forward big time to being with the boys. He spent the last two nights at Brad and Heather's. We met up with them today, and found the three boys in the driveway playing with robot bugs and remote control flying things.

Here are most of the cousins, reluctantly pulled away from the water play.

Tyler finishing up the birthday treats. Cookie good.
